On your marks… The Coventry Half Marathon is today, brought to you by the Coventry University Students’ Union!
The race starts at The Hub at 8:30 am and the participants will take on a challenging 13.1 miles!
The runners are expected to raise thousands of pounds for local charities such as the University Hospital, Zoë’s Place and Myton Hospice.

Millie Mac, the event organiser and Vice-president for Sport and Well-being at the Students’ Union, told Coventry Live: “The Festival of Running is a fantastic way to get all of the city involved in celebrating and enjoying fitness, we have everyone from those who’ve never run before through to elite runners taking part.”
